Save the animals, save yourself, and save the planet.

Being vegan tunes into kindness, the most genuine of human attributes. The underlying care in kindness is what we believe is the essential part of human happiness. We feel happiest when we are giving to others. Kindness has many extensions beyond simply being nice and polite. Kindness involves understanding our impact on other sentient beings with regard to all our choices. It means digging below the surface of our needs and into the conscious world of all other beings and doing all we can to reduce needless pain and suffering. Understanding our interconnectedness and minimising pain benefits everyone. Is a milkshake or a beef patty truly worth the suffering of a whole family? All animals have the same rights; to assume humans are more entitled is simply humans being bullies rather than using our ample collective intelligence to be kind and unselfish. Given the choice between bullying and kindness, which option would you choose? If you consume animal products, your actions are directly linked to the killing of animals, just as if you were the one who killed them, because our purchasing decisions drive the motivation for their deaths. Stop buying animal products and stop killing animals. Pigs and cows have just as much right to live as a puppy. This tiny planet connects us all. Many believe they are connected in aura, pain, and joy. Let's use our intelligence for kindness over selfish whims. For the animals, let us not kill when it's not necessary. Save the billions of animals who, just like us, were magically born and arrived sentient and here. For ourselves, it is healthier for our bodies and more loving for our souls. For the planet, save our forests, our oceans, and our river systems. We understand that many of us grew up eating meat, and our food is such a huge and connected part of our cultures, families, and especially our egos. Yet we would not eat our pets. Nor would we want our family abused for another's meal, especially when there are plenty of other food sources available. Try it and see if the act of saving animals and consuming healthy food brings you peace. It surely did for me. It all changed one day. Thanks to a movie and some additional research, I began to realise that by eating meat, I was promoting the killing and abuse of animals. Animals are my friends; I decided to stop eating them immediately. It was an instant decision, one I have never and will never regret. To align my actions with my values, I decided to try a vegan lifestyle. After a week or two, I felt my whole body rise out of sleep and start to feel more alive while my mind became amazingly clear. My digestion improved, sleep was better, and I felt lighter as I was losing weight. All the digestive issues I had in my life (40 years) disappeared in a week. I was so stunned by the improvement in my overall health; it was like a rebirth. Going vegan became an obvious choice.
